This retrofit column is designed to fit your Ford Truck and does NOT require modification to your original vehicle to install. This GM Style column features a GM top shaft and a 3 7/8" Wiring Plug. Pre-welded underdash mounts are included with all 1973-77 columns and are designed to fit your application. Use an ididit installation kit to install your new steering column in place of the old. Using an adaptor, add an aftermarket steering wheel and the gripping surface of the new wheel will be in the same location as the original.
